Julie and Jane

Well, another week is gone and I have again that ugly feeling that I hate Monday. But tonight ,after finishing this post, I am going to immerse myself in reading my favourite magazines. Did I mentioned that I have thousand of magazines wich I don't know where to put anymore? 

Ei bine, a mai trecut o saptamana si am din nou sentimentul acela urat ca urasc ziua de luni. Dar in seara aceasta, dupa ce termin postarea aceasta, am de gand sa ma scufund in lecturarea revistelor mele preferate. Am mentionat vreodata ca am mii de reviste pe care deja nu mai stiu pe unde sa le pun ?

Tonight I present you Julie and Jane, my newest dolls, both Tilda projects. Actually Julie is a bit of two Tilda projects - an Christmas angel and The Princess and the pea. I saw the Princess on Susan's blog from Evelyn and Rose and I liked it very,very much, even if I didn't buyed Tone Finnanger's last book. So I had to use a lot of imagination and an angel pattern from another book of hers to create my Julie.

In seara aceast va prezint pe Julie si pe Jane, cele mai noi papusi ale mele, amandoua proiecte Tilda. De fapt Julie este un cate un pic din doua proiecte ' un inger de Craciun si Printesa si bobul de mazare. Am vazut Printesa pe blogul lui Susan din Evelyn and Rose si mi-a placut foarte, foarte mult, chiar daca nu am cumparat ultima carte a lui Tone Finnanger. Asa ca a trebuit sa utilizez multa imaginatie si un tipar de inger dintr-o alta carte a ei ,pentru a putea crea pe Julie a mea. 

I like a lot the way she turned out. Her romantic night dress with blu flowers, her black hair braided on her shoulder and the white stockings with cotton lace.

Imi place foarte mult cum a iesit. Camasa de noapte romantica, parul ei negru impletit pe umar si ciorapii albi cu dantela din bumbac.

As it for Jane, she is an easy project from Summer Ideas, Tone Finnanger's book. Her lovely dress is made from cotton fabric with roses and pink lace. Her brown hair is gathered in two side buns.

In ceea ce o priveste pe Jane, ea este un proiect usor de realizat din Idei de Vara, cartea lui Tone Finnanger. Rochita ei frumoasa este realizata din panza de bumbac cu trandafiri si dantela roz. Parul ei castaniu este starns in doua cocuri laterale.

A good news for today! My sister and her boyfriend found a nice studio to rent and starting from today they are decorating the studio: cleaning, changing the wall colour, changing the curtains, adding some furniture , and so on. A new home is like a blank sheet of paper to draw so I allready have hundreds of ideas that would fit in their house, but since it's going to be THEIR home, not mine, I refrain myself to only give them some impulse, without involving to much. I'm sure they have their own dreams of how their perfect home should be.

O veste buna pe ziua de azi! Sora mea impreuna cu prietenul ei au gasit o garsoniera draguta de inchiriat si incepand de astazi au inceput decorarea: curatenie, schimbarea culorii peretilor, schimbarea peredelelor, adaugarea unor piese de mobilier, si asa mai departe. O casa noua este precum o pagina alba de hartie gata de desenat si am deja sute de idei care s-ar potrivi in casa lor, dar intru-cat va fi casa LOR, nu a mea, ma abtin si le dau doar cateva imbloduri, fara sa ma implic prea mult. Sunt sigura ca au propriile vise despre cum ar trebui sa arate caminul lor perfect.

 I'm verry happy for them and I'm sure they will create their perfect nest. 

Sunt foarte fericita pentru ei si sunt sigura ca isi vor crea cuibul perfect.

Well, I have so many other beautifull pictures from the Fair, but I have a blog problem. I can not post vertical pictures. Every time I try to post a vertical picture, it get's allways orrizzontal mode. And I tried all the ways...HTML mode, GChrome , IExplorer... Have you ever had this problem ?? Can you please give me an advise??????

Ei bine, mai am multe alte fotografii de la Targ, dar am o problema de blog. Nu pot posta fotografii verticale. De fiecare data cand incerc sa postez o fotografie verticala, se "aseaza" intotdeauna pe orizontala. Si am incercat in toate modurile...modul HTML, in GChrome, in IExplorer... Ati avut vreodata aceasta problema ?? Puteti va rog, sa-mi dati un sfat ??????

By the way... Have you all had a lovely St. Valentine's day? I sure had an extraordinary St. Valentine's day! Mr. Shabby comed back from a 3 weeks work trip and we spent the most romantic evening together.

Apropo... Ati avut toti parte de o zi de Sf. Valentin frumoasa? Eu in mod sigur am avut un Sf. Valentin extraordinar! Dl. Shabby s-a intors dintr-o delegatie de 3 saptamani de servici si am petrecut cea mai romantica seara impreuna.

St. Valentine's Fair

A quick post to say hy and to let you know that this weekend I am part of  St. Valentine's Fair, here in my city, so wish me luck !!

Un post rapid doar ca sa va salut si sa va spun ca weekendul acest particip la Targul de Sf. Valentin, aici in orasul meu, asa ca urati-mi noroc !!

With all the rush to have all done untill tomorrow night, my home looks like a seewing laboratory. Just take a look at one corner of my tinny home...

Cu toata graba de a  termina totul pana maine seara, casa mea arata ca un atelier de croitorie. Doar priviti la un colt al micutei mele case...

Flea market goodies

I was waiting the day of Sunday for weeks to go to the flea market!!! Probably you are laughing..Sunday comes every week. I know. But since last Sunday I was expecting visit and the other last Sunday I was gone to my parents....This Sunday I finally went to the flea market ! Well, our romanian flea markets aren't like american ones, where you can find all kind of beautifull vintage things. In Romania, people sell a lot of tools, car pieces, clothes,books, but if you are lucky enough and have the patient to search well, you could find some old ceramic tureen, or lamps, clocks or even a furniture piece. So here I am with my goodies ( not many, but lovelly I should say ).

Am asteptat ziua de duminica de saptamani intregi ca sa merg la targul de vechituri !!! Probabil va vine sa radeti..Duminica este in fiecare saptamana. Stiu. Dar pentru ca duminica trecuta am avut musafiri, iar cealalta duminica trecuta am fot la parintii mei...Duminica aceasta in sfarsit am mers la targul de vechituri ! Ei bine, targurile romanesti de vechituri nu seamana cu cele americane, unde poti gasi tot felul de lucruri vintage frumoase. In Romania, lumea vinde unelte, piese pentru masini, haine, carti, dar daca esti destul de norocos si ai rabdare sa cauti bine, ai putea gasi cateva supiere din ceramica, sau veioze, ceasuri sau chiar piese de mobilier. Asa ca va prezint bunatatile mele (nu sunt multe, dar as spune ca sunt dragute)

Doua cesti de zahar si una de lapte. Atat de dulci..

You sure noticed the blue runner. I made it last Friday from vintage cotton, dubbled with white cotton underneath. Is 120 cm long per 45 cm width.

Sigur ati observat stergarul de pe masa. L-am cusut vinerea trecuta din bumbac vintage, dublat pe partea inferioara cu bumbac alb. Este lung 120 cm si lat 45 cm.

I've also made a pannier from the same fabric as the runner. And I'm thinking to make some kitchen towels and maybe an apron from the same fabric. I love the stripes and the calm colours.

Am facut de asemenea un cos de paine din aceeasi panza cu stergarul. Si ma gandesc sa fac si cateva prosoape de bucatarie si poate un sort din aceeasi panza. Imi plac dungile si culorile calme.

And here you have a gorgeous old wall lamp .A lovelly lady in her fancy vintage dress. I think she's made of iron because she's very heavy. In her arms she hold the lamps.

Si iata o superba aplica veche. O frumoasa doamna in rochia ei eleganta. Cred ca este din fier pentru ca este foarte grea. Iar in mainile sale tine becurile. 

Just look at the details. The colour is ugly, but I think I could fix this problem.

Uitati-va doar la detalii. Culoarea este urata, dar cred ca pot rezolva problema aceasta.
