It all started with Karen's tutorial from The Graphics Fairy called How to Print on Fabric.. In her tutorial , Karen uses freezer paper to adhere it to the fabric and so to print on both.. Well, I wanted to print on fabric but I didn't had freezer paper so I thought maybe if I replace freezer paper with baking paper it could still work ... ( probably you are laughing by now...) .In her tutorial it is said to iron the paper to the fabric so it adheres.. mine didn't do that after 5 minutes of ironing... So meanwhile I was looking to the paper , very disappointed, an idea hit me...Why shouldn't I print directly to the baking paper and forget about the fabric. After all, even the baking paper is paper ! And I like the old vintage brownie look of it...
So here it's what you can do with some baking paper, a beautiful Graphics Fairy image and an old white painted wood frame...it took me only 5 minutes
Do you like it ?

Beautiful! Love the mottled look of this paper, and of course, love the graphics fairy! I used her tutorial to print on fabric many times! It works quite well - but, of course, the freezer paper is essential! Ha ha! The baking paper looks quite fantastic anyway! Must love a happy mistake. Good job! ȘtergereVery beautiful! When you say baking paper, are you meaning parchment paper? If so, did you tea dye it? Love the color! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
RăspundețiȘtergerehugs,
Jann
Yes, it's kind of parchment paper. I had the brownie one so I dind't need to tea dye it. We, here, have this kind of paper wich is used for oven trays, very thin, brownie on both sides, and has one side glossy and the other one matte. I printed on the matte side because I was afraid that on the glossy side the ink will not stick. Thankyou for stopping by! Hugs, Cristina
