Sweet dolls

Few weeks a go I told you about a SAL that I participate - Una coccola per sognare. And now, Sabrina from Monnalisa Dolls taught us how to sew a beautiful dress for our doll. But desides sewing  a few dresses, I sewed a sister for my doll and another doll slightly higher..

Acum cateva saptamani v-am spus despre SAL-ul la care particip - Una coccola per sognare. Iar acum, Sabrina de la Monnalisa Dolls ne-a invatat cum sa coasem rochite frumoase pentru papusica noastra. Dar pe langa a coase cateva rochii , am cusut o surioara pentru papusica mea si chiar o papusa putin mai mare..

I already dream about Spring and Summer and I started sewing some nice dresses for the season. I love ruffles, cotton laces and flowers so I think something good came. Made for big and small..

Valentine's Day Fair

Sorry for my absence (again..), but I took part on another handmade fair here in my city, for Valentine's Day. So I had to do hard work the weeks before the Fair.

Imi cer scuze pentru absenta mea ( din nou..), dar am luat parte la un alt Targ Handmade aici in orasul meu, pentru ziua Sf. Valentin. Asa ca am avut mult de munca in saptamanile dinaintea targului.

What you can do with a vintage pillowcase

When you have an unmatched pillowcase, a bit old, but in bright, beautiful colours, what you can do with it? ..A bread basket, of course !

Well, I don't have the before picture, because once the idea hit me, I didn't thought of anything else. But I do have a "during" picture..,so you can sord of understand how the pillowcase it was....

Atunci cand ai o fata de perna desperecheata, putin cam veche , dar in culori frumoase, ce poti face cu ea? Un cos de paine, desigur !

Ei bine, nu am o fotografie cu "inainte de", pentru ca atunci cand m-a lovit ideea, nu m-am mai gandit la nimic altceva. dar o fotografie cu "in timp ce".., asa ca va cam puteti da seama cum arata fata de perna...

It had coloured stripes on the main side and a red-brick colour on the other side. All I had to do it was to open the 4 sides of the pillow case, add the yellow heart with green thread, and to create the basket...

(Here you can see my sewing corner...It's not a big space, but I cand handle it... And behind my Christmas Elf, is my grandmother portrait...It's a long story that I will tell you another time) 

Avea dungi colorate pe fata principala si o culoarea caramizie pe cealalta parte. Tot ceea ce a trebuit sa fac a fost sa deschid toate cele 4 laturi, sa adaug inima galbena tivita cu ata verde, si sa creez cosul...

(Aici puteti vedea si coltul meu de cusut...Nu este un spatiu mare, dar ma descurc...Iar in spatele spiridusului de Craciun, este portretul bunicii mele ...Este o poveste lunga pe care o voi spune altadata)

So here it is my bread basket / pillow case...

Si iata cosul meu de paine / fata de perna...
