Easter Fair and more

I can't believe I am missing for so long from my blog!!.. Had some busy busy days..

I promissed you some pictures from the Easter Fair in Sibiu, but first I would like to show you a little baby I made - My own version of the little Red Riding Hood. I started from Monnalisa's pattern for the "coccole"  from "Una coccola per sognare" and then changed and added what I thought necessary.  

Nu pot sa cred ca lipsesc de atata vreme de pe blogul meu!!.. Am avut niste zile ocupate tare..

V-am promis cateva fotografii de la Targul de Paste din Sibiu, dar mai intai vreau sa va arat micuta mea copila - propria mea versiune a Scufitei Rosii. Am pornit de la tiparul Monnalisei pentru papusile "coccole" de la "Una coccola per sognare" si apoi am modificat si adaugat dupa cum am crezut de cuviinta.

As for Sibiu, even if we had winter temperatures with rain and all, I had a great time, and I met extraordinary people - Mezoart Arts and Sele Studio and I think I'll come back soon. I have to tell you, I felt inlove with the city..again....

In ceea ce priveste Sibiu, am avut temperaturi invernale si ploaie cat cuprinde, dar m-am simtit bine, am intalnit persoane extraordinare - Mezoart Arts si Sele Studio si cred ca ma voi intoarce la Sibiu. Trebuie sa va spun ca m-am indragostit de oras...din nou....

Valentine's Day Fair

Sorry for my absence (again..), but I took part on another handmade fair here in my city, for Valentine's Day. So I had to do hard work the weeks before the Fair.

Imi cer scuze pentru absenta mea ( din nou..), dar am luat parte la un alt Targ Handmade aici in orasul meu, pentru ziua Sf. Valentin. Asa ca am avut mult de munca in saptamanile dinaintea targului.

În cele mai toride zile de vară, noi suntem sub corturi la Târgul Handmade de Sf. Maria. Ar fi foarte drăguţ din partea voastră să treceţi pe la noi.

Fair this week-end

Week-endul acesta pe 15 si 16 iunie 2013, va astept la Targul de Cadouri si Decoratiuni realizate Manual, din Pitesti centru - intre Fortuna si magazin Trivale, intre orele 9.30 - 20.30 !!! 

This week-end on 15th and 16th of June 2013, I'll be at the Handmade Gift and Decorations Fair , in Pitesti - downtown between Fortuna and Trivale store, from 9.30 to 20.30 !!!

Do or do not ETSY

Lately I'm thinking to open an Etsy store with handmade products and some vintage accessories. And I spent some time reading about Etsy conditions and some more time reading about PayPal.

It doesn't seam complicated and the fact that there are thousands or more sellers makes me sort of confident, but is it PayPal a safe way to sell on the internet?  I'd like to have some opinions from you, Etsy sellers. I think it would be an usefull thing not only for me, to start a conversation about Etsy rules, possibilities, problems and so on. 

In ultima perioada m-am gandit destul de mult sa-mi deschid un magazin Etsy cu produse handmade si cateva accesorii vintage. Si mi-am petrecut ceva timp citind despre conditiile Etsy si ceva mai mult timp citind despre PayPal.

Nu pare sa fie complicat si faptul ca sunt vanzatori mii sau poate mai mult imi ofera oarecare incredere, dar este PayPal o modalitate sigura de a vinde pe internet? Mi-ar placea sa primesc cateva opinii din partea voastra, vanzatori Etsy. Cred ca ar fi un lucru util si nu doar mie, sa deschidem o conversatie pe marginea regulilor Etsy, posibilitatilor, problemelor si asa mai departe.

THIRD HANDMADE FAIR

I promissed you a post about the last Handmade I were so here I am. I have to say it was the first fair I participated outdoor and I like it. The weather was good,warm, almost hot I should say , only the second day we had some wind blowing away our handmade products...

V-am promis un post despre ultimul Targ handmade la care am participat asa ca iata-ma. Trebuie sa spun ca a fost primul targ exterior la care am participat si mi-a placut. Vremea a fost buna, caldut, chiar cald as putea spune, doar in cea de-a doua zi a batut putin vantul...

My dolls are allways making waves through the visitors and I sold Jane, you can see her in this post. I also sold the Vintage pillow case you can see here, and some brand new pillows that I haven't got the time to take pictures. I was told to do blond dolls so for the next time i'll prepare some.

Papusile mele intotdeauna fac valuri printre visitatori si am vandut-o pe Jane , pe care o puteti vedea in aceasta postare. Am vandut si fata de perna Vintage pe care o puteti vedea aici, si unele perne noi noute pe care nu am avut timp sa le fotografiez. Mi s-a spus sa fac si papusi blonde asadar voi pregati cateva pentru data viitoare.

I made some new models of bags : shopping bags, clutches, baby purses and messenger bags. Well, I still have to exercise on that, but for the beggining it's just fine. And I was asked about baby dresses and hats. It's on my to do list !! To be sincere, it was one of the things I wanted to do but I didn't had time...

Am facut cateva noi modele de genti : genti de cumparaturi, plicuri, gentute de copilasi si genti de postas. Ei bine, inca mai trebuie sa exersez la capitolul acesta, dar pentru inceput este multumitor. Si am fost intrebata de rochite de copilasi si palariute. Sunt pe lista mea de lucruri de facut !! Sa fiu sincera, era unul dintre lucrurile pe care vroiam sa le fac dar nu am mai avut timp..

For the next fair I'll have to find a new way to expose my products because a table and a vertical metal stand is not enough for me. And the space we get is only 1.50 mt long. As you can see, my products aren't heavy, but they are voluminous and as much I'd like to give my table an artistic arrangement, it allways seams too crowded..

Pentru urmatorul targ va trebui sa gasesc o noua modalitate de a expune produsee pentru ca o masa si un stand vertical nu sunt suficiente pentru mine. Si spatiul pe care il avem la dispozitie este lung de doar 1.50 mt . Asa cum puteti vedea, produsele mele nu sunt grele, dar sunt voluminoase si oricat as incerca sa ofer mesei mele un aranjament artistc, intotdeauna arata prea aglomerata..

Have you any suggestions of how could I organise my table? What kind of arrangement do those of you that participate to handmande fairs ?

Aveti sugestii despre cum as putea sa organizez masa ?  Ce fel de aranjamente folositi voi cei care participati la targuri handmade ?

It's all for today, I running to do some Easter preparations. You know, Sunday is Easter here in Romania, for orthodox christians, so HAPPY EASTER YOU ALL !!!!!

Cam atat pentru astazi, fug sa mai fac unele pregatiri pentru Paste. Stiti, Duminica este Pastele aici in Romania, pentru crestinii ortodocsi, asa ca PASTE FERICIT TUTUROR !!!!!!
